Getting Ready for NAWFest
It's time to start heading out on the road, again, supporting my friend and roommate Matt's fledgling business WhiteWaterPlayboating.com. Last year we put about 15,000 miles on his Jeep, and hit over a dozen different states as we toured the country hitting all of the big whitewater festivals.
Matt's already been to the Memphis Whitewater Club's Creek Week '07. You can read about that here.
Now it's time to head out the North Alabama Whitewater Festival hosted by North Alabama Small Boats. We'll be leaving tomorrow (3/8) and heading back on Sunday (3/11). It looks like it's going to be a blast.
I'm going to try to update on a daily basis, both about my personal journey in the travels and about the sport in general. I'll be posting to the WhiteWaterPlayboating Travelblog, too. But I'll try and post the more personal stuff here.
